🌋 Ascent to Lagoa do Fogo
We begin the climb to one of the island’s most impressive volcanoes. Along the way, you’ll notice dramatic changes in vegetation and enjoy panoramic views over the island’s “neck”.

📸 Lagoa do Fogo Viewpoints
We stop at several scenic viewpoints to admire one of São Miguel’s wildest and most untouched lagoons. Set within a volcanic caldera, its turquoise waters are framed by lush green slopes.

🐐 Salto do Cabrito Waterfall

Visit this hidden waterfall that feeds a local hydroelectric plant — a peaceful spot surrounded by striking rock formations.

Considered by many the most spectacular viewpoint in São Miguel, offering panoramic views over multiple lagoons (Canário, Santiago, Rasa, and Sete Cidades) at once.

The most iconic postcard view of the Azores. From here, admire the stunning Sete Cidades caldera, with the clear contrast between the Blue and Green lagoons.

🟢 Santiago Lagoon
We finish with the view of this deep, emerald-green lagoon, nestled inside a perfect volcanic crater and surrounded by steep, lush slopes.
